Community
Partnership Initiatives - Community Outreach
Forms alliances with all homeowner associations (HOA) surrounding
the Sankofa CDC Headquarters and the New Psalmist Baptist
Church. Under this initiative, community groups are informed
of the progress of the church and the projects Sankofa CDC
sponsor in the neighborhood.
Sankofa assists in the development and drafting of grant
proposals for community association based funds and assist
in the forward movement of community initiatives that are
stalled due to government regulations or procedures. Communities
surrounding Sankofa headquarters are offered the opportunity
to showcase their community on Sankofa’s Website free
of charge to share upcoming events and history.
