Baltimore has a rich history in homeownership and solid communities. Many areas are in need of major revitalization for the next generation of Baltimoreans. Sankofa CDC continues to strive to empower and redevelop communities it serves.

Community Partnership Initiatives - Community Outreach

As part of our community outreach and partnership initiatives, Sankofa seeks to form alliances with all homeowner associations (HOA) in the surrounding communities whereby Sankofa CDC and the New Psalmist Baptist Church (NPBC) are headquartered. Under this initiative, community groups are informed of any sponsored projects and activities of Sankofa and the New Psalmist Baptist Church in the neighborhood.
Sankofa can assist in the development and drafting of grant proposals for community association-based funds and assist in the forward movement of community initiatives that are stalled due to government regulations or procedures. Communities surrounding Sankofa headquarters are offered the opportunity to showcase their community on Sankofa’s Website free of charge to share upcoming events and history
