In order to support our continuing efforts
to serve the people of Baltimore, Sankofa CDC host fundraising
events throughout the year. From black tie banquets with silent
auctions to annual golf tournaments at some of the best courses
in Baltimore City and County, Sankofa generates funds to continue
their efforts to help others.

on the Sea - Coming 2008
This fundraiser will assist Sankofa in continuing its efforts
to provide services to the people of Baltimore. This regional
community development corporation conference is comprised
of a late summer seven-day cruise leaving and returning for
Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore, Maryland.
This working cruise will be packed with workshops and seminars
emphasizing the development of faith-based CDC’s for
beginners. Additional workshops will be geared toward medium
to large CDC’s who are looking to enhance their current
operations and programs. Conference speakers representing
Federal, State and local organizations whose primary mission
are to assist 501(c) 3 organizations will also be scheduled
to present.

Semi-Annual Golf Tournament
Every other year, Sankofa hosts a golf tournament in an effort
to replenish funds used throughout the year. Sankofa CDC reinvest
all funds generated back into the corporation
